Government employees strike

B.C. Government employees took part in a 'day of action' as they picketed outside the Peace Forest District building on 17th Ave. Wednesday. BCGEU and PEA members were joined by ICBC employees across the province in a single-day strike against the Province, which has failed to meet union demands for wage increases that would on par with inflation, as well the government's downsizing of licensed professionals.
