A semi truck and trailer unit worth $150,000 that was allegedly stolen from Grande Prairie was found in Dawson Creek last week.
Last Wednesday, Grande Prairie RCMP reported that they were investigating a theft of a semi truck unit that occurred on a contractor’s yard site located on 114 Street and 96 Avenue in Grande Prairie.
The unit, which was a 2001 Peterbilt Conventional Semi Truck, had a 1996 Gerry’s Trailer attached, according to police.
Police said that as a result of a media release issued Wednesday, the truck and trailer were located in Dawson Creek last Thursday morning.
The Grande Prairie RCMP thanked the public and the media for their assistance.
Police continue their investigation.
