QUESTION OF THE WEEK

Survey results are meant for general information only, and are not based on recognised statistical methods.

Sniffing out crime

Something just didn't smell right about the car that the officer had pulled over for speeding.

When the police officer noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle at 9:50 p.m. last Friday night, it was searched. Over 700 grams of grams of marijuana, 170 grams of cocaine, over $13,000 in cash, a knife, a crowbar and a can of bear spray were seized and all of the occupants were arrested.

Police are recommending charges of possessing marijuana and cocaine for the purposes of tracking against a man, a woman, and a female young offender from the Fort St. John area.
